 Welcome
back! We
thank all of you who are sending your children to Massillon
Christian School this upcoming year – whether you are a
continuing family, a returning family, or a new family. All of
our faculty members have indicated that they are renewing their
contracts, and our student enrollment is up from last year.

Immunizations
The beginning of a new school year
brings a new round of vaccinations for our students. The
following are the general guidelines for what is required and
recommended.
- Kindergarten And Grade 1
Students: State law requires the second MMR, Varivax
(for Chicken Pox), and Hepatitis B series, in addition to
DTAP and Polio Boosters.
- Grades 2 - 12: These
students should have previously received their second MMR
and Hepatitis B Series. The Chicken Pox vaccine is
recommended if your child has not had the disease.
- Grade 7: It is recommended
that these students receive booster doses of Tetanus /
Diphtheria vaccine, if it has been more than five (5) years
since the last one, a Varivax (Chicken Pox) immunization if
your child has not had the disease, and a series of three
(3) Hepatitis B injections, given over a six month period.
- Grades 9 - 12: It is
recommended that these students receive their Meningitis
vaccine.

 Because
of the abuse of our previous cell phone policy at Massillon
Christian School, we have had to revise the policy.

2007 Walk-A-Thon
 The
Walk-A-Thon is Massillon Christian School's largest fund raiser
of the year, and one of the most fun. We have a great time every
year and enjoy the time that we get to spend with each other.
The Walk-A-Thon is extremely important to MCS and helped us
raise $ 24,000.00 last year. The current tuition does not come
close to covering the total cost of operating MCS, however with
such events as the Walk-A-Thon, we have been able to keep the
tuition low for supplying a quality, spiritual based education
for our children. We hope that you are able to support us this
year.

MCS Chargers Email Addresses
We have a couple of hundred
MCS Charges email addresses available. The email is
name@mcschargers.com. The email addresses are available on a
first-come-first-serve basis. The email can be set up to check
from programs such as Outlook, Outlook Express, Eudora, etc, or
on-line, or through cell phones, palm pilots, blackberries,
etc... If you are
interested in having an MCS email address, please contact me at
